You are all invited to the Tarvydas afterparty with Ashley Roberts (pussycat dolls) playing an exclusive DJ set! This will be her ONLY Perth appearance and she is set to party! Come party with Ashley and Natasha Cunnigham (Underbelly) and the cast of the graduate as well as the rest of our hot guests, Tarvydas glamazons and models and of course Ruth herself!!
Entry is free, all those with a ticket to our show are granted a...utomatic entry directly after, others can come from 9:45 pm but I suggest get there on time to avoid disappointment as we are going to pack it out!!
The address is the Fashion Bar- 347 Wellington St next to Fashion Paramount just look for the pumping party! We have an extended licence til 2am so you won't want to be anywhere else!

FORMER Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts and AFL glamour boy Josh Gibson set tongues wagging on Sunday night when the high-profile pair hooked up during a night out.
Roberts, who was linked to Bra Boy Koby Abberton during a trip to Sydney last year, apparently has a bloke stashed in every capital city.
Gibson was only too happy to meet up with Roberts at Melbourne's Cushion Lounge when Roberts and some gal pals blew into town.
Roberts is here on her fourth promotional trip in 18 months and sources in her entourage said Gibson was top of her list of must-see "friends". She caught up with him on her one night off before jetting to Magnetic Island today.
"Ashley really likes Josh and is interested in him and this was the third time they've caught up in a year," a source told Confidential. "They get on so well and they were looking intimate within minutes of seeing each other - she had her arm around him when he was whispering to her and then she stroked his ear when she whispered back.
"They really dig each other's company. There's plenty of chemistry there."
The pair left the club together but as to whether they went home together, we can only speculate as our spy lost them.
When Roberts was last here in March, Gibson was fined by the Hawks for breaking the club's curfew.
Shouldn't be such a concern this time as Gibson's season ended on Saturday, meaning he was at the ready to fire up when she called.

Ashley all nighter at Fanny's in Newcastle

ONE Pussycat Doll, 10 people, a Hummer limo and countless measures of alcohol.

As part of a nightclub appearance for Newcastle party palace Fanny's, sex kitten and regular Down Under tourist Ashley Roberts journeyed north on Friday night with an exclusive posse of Sydney peeps for a high-energy party that stretched 340km return.

7.45PM

Ashley arrives at Italian eatery Lanzafame Trattoria in Woolloomooloo for a pizza dinner, kitted out in a cape from Darlinghurst boutique Capital L. Male model Jake Gordon announces that he packed a spare shirt in case he spews.

10PM

Hummer with a seriously stocked bar leaves for Newcastle. Reigning Australia's Next Top Model winner Tahnee Atkinson commands the iPod dock and plays DJ. Justin Bieber gets a massive reception.

11.10PM

Toilet stop somewhere on the F3. Servo was shut. Even a Pussycat Doll in sequins can go on the side of the road. Rebecca Jobson discovers the sun roof.

12.35AM

Arrive at Fanny's with Lady Gaga's Beautiful Dirty Rich blaring. Escorted to roped off area of club. Waitress brings trays of cocktails and bubbly.

1.40AM

Ashley takes to the stage to sing. Crowd goes crazy. One punter thinks she's hometown model Jennifer Hawkins. Another cries.

2AM

Ousted Top Model contender Chantal Croccolo pole dances with friends.

3.05am

New and refreshed Hummer picks up the crew from Fanny's. It has karaoke.

5.30am

Hummer pulls into the driveway at Star City, just as daylight begins to break.

Roberts hails from a music-oriented family. Her father was a drummer who played for the Mamas and the Papas. Her Pilates-instructor mother, along with her father (who later became a car dealer) inspired their daughter to work in the entertainment industry.

"I definitely think it has helped my career so far," Roberts said "My dad would tell me stories of being on the road and how amazing it feels to feel the energy of the audience, the relationship you have with your fans ... they are along the journey with you."

Roberts' journey into the entertainment industry began at an early age, taking up dancing as a three-year-old and singing at the age of eight.

"I would run home to see what videos Paula Abdul, Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson were premiering," she said "I loved the performance they would give, the theatrics of dancing and singing."

Roberts has since starred in her own smash hit video clips, alongside the other Pussycat Dolls, as well as clips for Aaron Carter, P!nk, Jane's Addiction and Counting Crows.

"My favourite though was Busta Rhymes," she said "He was such a cool cat!"

Also enticed by Hollywood from a young age, Roberts made her film debut as Brooke in Make It Happen in 2008.

"On the acting side, I was influenced a lot by comedians like Chris Farley, Dana Carvey and the lovely Goldie Hawn (as a child)," she said.

Leaving the Pussycat Dolls earlier this year has given Roberts an opportunity to concentrate on her solo career, from acting and music to modelling and fashion design.

"I love being creative," she said "I don't know if I could ever choose (just one avenue), although music is the universal language, and I love being able to touch all different kinds of people."

Being a solo performer now opens Roberts up to new collaboration possibilities, and she has a few names she would like to work with.

"Justin Timberlake or Beyonce," she said "(But) on the other end of the spectrum, Radiohead or Florence + The Machine."

Roberts said she had taken valuable lessons from her time with the Pussycat Dolls, especially, "how much the music industry has changed and that a hard work ethic is important."

The 28-year-old has been working on several projects, including a pilot show for MTV, studio time for her debut solo album, and spent time in Australia earlier this year, where she launched her own line of lingerie designed for the beach.

"I would love to get a place in Oz," she said "I love the people and the vibe ... so maybe some day I would have a place in Sydney or Melbourne."
She also talked about her new solo material, which she said would be similar to what we know her for.

"I want to take all of my amazing fans from PCD and introduce them to me," she said "So it will be fun, high-energy songs that they can dance to with a strong empowering message."

Ashley Roberts is a dancer, model, designer, actress, and best known as former singer in the “Pussycat Dolls.” She now has left the band and ventured out on her own to pursue a solo career. When she is not busy in the studio or attending special events she finds time to give back. Here is my one on one interview with Ashley.

1) You recently attended Eva Longoria’s charity event benefiting children with cancer. Why do you feel it is so important in getting involved and giving back?
AR: I enjoy giving back. I think you end up receiving so much by feeling like your helping or contributing to someone in need. There are so many less fortunate people and it feels good that I could possibly help in making some sort of difference. However small it may be.

2) You recently left the Pussycat Dolls to launch your solo career, are you currently working on any new music?
AR: Yes I am!! I am very excited to be back in the studio I also have been hosting for E! And been in acting workshops. Life is fun and it’s exciting to be dreaming again.

3) Habitat for Humanity is an organization you have worked with in the past, what has been your favorite part of being involved in this organization?
AR: Like I said before, just feeling like your making a contribution to the world. I’ve been so blessed am so grateful in life. It feels good to know I could be putting a smile on someone’s face

4) With the economy so poor many schools are cutting out the arts, how do you feel about this?
AR: It makes me soo sad. Art awakens your soul… Its dreaming and using your imagination and creativity. That sounds more useful in life than algebra .. In my opinion. Thanks, Joey Parker! xxAsh

Ruth Tarvydas Festival Show in Perth

ASHLEY Roberts - singer with US R&B girl band the Pussycat Dolls - will model Ruth Tarvydas numbers in the upcoming Perth Fashion Festival.

Opening the show, Roberts will hit the runway in a gown from Tarvydas' spring-summer 10/11 collection. Tarvydas said she invited Ashley to star in her show as she "epitomises the Tarvydas brand - youthful, sexy and fun''. "Ashley is a headline act and I am screaming with excitement that she is opening my show! Ashley is also set to impress us for a second time as she takes control of the turntables for a celebrity guest DJ set at our after party in the Fashion Bar," Tarvydas said. In a statement Roberts said: "I am really pumped about coming to Perth - it is such a gorgeous city. "I am thrilled to be starring in the Ruth Tarvydas runway show for Perth Fashion Festival. I love her style and edginess and I can't wait to try on all of her dazzling dresses." A sell-out success for the second time in two years, the Ruth Tarvydas show will be held at PFF's Fashion Paramount in the Old Gasworks Building at 337 Wellington St on September 10. More than 600 guests will attend. "Ruth always puts on a show to remember and Ashley's involvement will bring pop-star glamour, sex and sizzle, which everyone loves to see on the catwalk," said Perth Fashion Festival Director, Mariella Harvey Hanrahan. Perth Fashion Festival runs fom September 9 to 15.
