Ashley Roberts /born 14th September 1981, Phoenix, Arizona, USA/

She was born in Phoenix, Arizona and attended Shadow Mountain High School. She began dancing at the age of three and singing at the age of eight. Her father was a drummer who played for the Mamas and the Papas. He later became a car dealer. Her mother was a Pilates instructor and they both inspired her to be a part of the entertainment industry.



During high school summer breaks she had travelled to the West Coast to study modern dance. After high school she moved permanently to Los Angeles. She appeared in television commercials and a Counting Crows music video for "Accidentally in Love". She has also appeared in the gameshow "Rock and a Hard Place", hosted by Meatloaf, with fellow PCD members, Melody Thornton and Carmit Bachar.

   Within six months of her move she had joined the Pussycat Dolls. After three years of performing with the burlesque group she moved on to join the recording Pussycat Dolls along with members Nicole Scherzinger, Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta and Kimberly Wyatt. As with the other group members she is a salaried employee of Interscope Records.



Previous experience  includes American Dreams, MTV´s Scratch and Burn, commercials for Eclipse Gum, AT and T, and she appears in fellow Doll Carmen Electra´s StripTease video.

Her doll name in the band was "Barbie Doll", but to avoid trouble from Mattel changed it to "Angel Doll".
Carmit Bachar /ex Pussycat Doll/ jokingly says "Ashley looks so sweet and innocent, but sometimes she´s not." Kimberly Wyatt also sees her as a best friend and a "little goofball who can make you laugh no matter what".

        Ashley had a small role in dance movie: Make It Happen.
She play Brooke. Make It Happen is the uplifting story of how
hard work and determination can make any dream come true.
